So I was going to wait to do this marathon until finishing others I started BUT my boyfriend lent me his copy of Path of Radiance and I’m playing through Fates and Heroes too so I figured. HEY LET’S JUST START THIS ALREADY. Plus I need to really play these. I can’t keep calling myself a fan without playing these Japanese-only games I’ve been putting off. Also Gaiden Remake is coming. Warriors is coming. 2017 is the year of Fire Emblem, so LET’S JUST OVERLOAD ME WITH IT TOO! Originally I wanted to do this all in order, but alas, given my unique opportunity and the fact that I needed something to get me to start it, it’s going to be done a bit out of order. Fates will be marked off once I finish all routes (On Birthright, and have Revelations still to do) plus DLC. Awakening will be crossed off once I do another playthrough plus all DLC. Outside of Fates and PoR + RD, I am still going to try and finish the rest in order, so NES games will be started first and I’ll finish off with Awakening or maybe a replay of Fates again. We’ll see~

This marathon’s purpose is to beat { } all the mainline Final Fantasy games plus a few spin-offs that I already own and any sequels/prequels as well. Any game that is crossed out is already beaten. I am aware that I am missing two entries in this marathon (11 and 14). Unfortunately I don’t like MMOs so I won’t be playing those two games. Other than those, all the games should be accounted for. Crystal Chronicles and Tactics are not up on the list because they are their own series now. (Edit: Since War of the Lions is the only Tactics game left for me, gonna add it to the marathon). The same applies to Kingdom Hearts (which will get its own marathon). I will add in more spin-off games once I pick them up as I don’t want to bloat the list too much with future purchases. This marathon is currently on hold until I finish off some lose ends.

Shamefully, I haven’t finished any of the Kingdom Hearts games, so this marathon is here to correct that. The main goal is to beat { } each of the games in the series in chronological order of release. A game that is crossed out has been finished. Re: Chain of Memories is not included because it’s just a fancy sparkly version of the GBA game.
